109130 - Soccer Skills

Preschool Class
Soccer Shots is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles. We utilize creative and imaginative games to focus on skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.

School Age
Soccer Shots focuses on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

In this class, your child will have one of their first gymnasts experience while learning cooperation and teamwork. The class will focus on flexibility and coordination while introduing basic gymnastics concepts in a structured play environment.

Build, create and explore with fun, hands-on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Create a chemical reaction, experiment with surface tension, or build a wind powered car. These explorations and more will build your child's creative problem solving skills through their natural curiousity of the world around them.

111302 - Sculpting with Model Magic

Have fun creating sculptures with Model Magic. Our instructor will guide children through step by step instructions to make their own sculptures. No parent participation required. All projects are age appropriate with no experience necessary. Each week has a new theme. All materials provided, dropped off at your doorstep. Model Magic is an air-drying, non-staining, easy to manipulate material. Red, blue, yellow, white and black colors will be provided. The instructor will demonstrate how to mix these primaries to create a full range of color. No class: April 23

Develop your child's intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas, including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children's motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. There will also be a chess competition with prizes at the end of the session! No class: April 22.

Ninja Warrior training is a bootcamp style class that challenges kids, K-2nd grade, with equipment such as agility ladders, resistance bands, battle ropes, noodles, balls and more. This fun-filled curriculum is uses games and drills that can improve coordination and cardiovascular conditioning, strength and flexibility while also boosting leadership, sportsmanship and teamwork skills. Pulse’s motivating and passionate coaches create empowering and exciting fitness classes that quickly come your child’s favorite hour of the week.
